FAQ

The questions hosts and planners ask before this makes sense.

The short version: this is a photographer-led guest portrait studio for your event. It should lead when the celebration needs composed guest portraits, not just booth entertainment.

Quick answers

Answers grouped by buying decision.

Portrait Station

Is the Portrait Station a photo booth?

No. It is closer to a compact on-site portrait studio. Guests are directed by a photographer instead of being left alone with a countdown screen, props, and a filter.

Does this replace the event photographer?

No. The event photographer documents the story of the day. The Portrait Station creates a separate guest portrait layer for the people in the room.

Why would guests care?

Guests are already dressed, present, and celebrating with people they love. A directed portrait gives them a keepsake that feels more personal than a standard favor.

Prints and gallery

Do guests receive prints at the event?

Yes. Guests receive 4x6 prints on-site, and larger print orders can be handled online after the event.

Can the host or organizer receive a gallery?

Yes. Gallery expectations should be confirmed during inquiry so the event output is scoped correctly.

Planning and venue

What details should we send first?

Send the event date, venue, city, guest count, room style, timeline, access notes, and whether the station should include prints, gallery, guestbook direction, or add-ons.

Do you need to review the room layout?

Yes. Placement affects guest flow, queue shape, power access, lighting direction, and how polished the experience feels inside the venue.

Do you serve Chicago suburbs?

Yes. You Will Never Forget It serves Chicago and Chicagoland events. Service-area pages are coverage pages, not physical office locations.

Investment and add-ons

Why is pricing quote-based?

The right scope depends on date, venue, access, guest count, room constraints, service duration, prints, gallery needs, and whether another booth supports the Portrait Station.

Should we book add-ons too?

Only if they solve a separate guest memory. Use enclosed booth for privacy, Phone Booth for voice messages, open-air for fast print participation, and 360 video for motion content.

Still deciding?

Start with the behavior you want from guests.

If guests should pause, be guided, and leave with a composed print, start with the Portrait Station. If guests should move quickly and play, use a supporting booth.
